Cold gallery

In a dark dark part of london down a dark dark random corridor was a dark dark room filled with video art work!

Steve, along with a lot of artists making work n the 70's 80's had their work displayed. anyone doing dsa should deffinantly check this out!

'peices i never did'
This is a video we often talk about, it was great to see the three screen version as we had only seen it on mini dv. While being told to shut up on one screen the artist talks about the ideas for peices he had never made on the other. the ideas on the third screen, dont really work, but are the type which always hang about in your brain. we have a few of these which need making.

Here is a peice i really liked, just projecting a dinner party on to a table with plates on. people would generaly only interact with it when the artist instrusted people to. it was a colourfull fun peice which raied questions about social conventions of interaction.

it was great to see all the work, but also HOW it was set up. we saw lots of different mirror set ups. It was also interesting to see how down projection works quite well, better than i had thought.
